Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

We’re hiring a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join a growing infrastructure team within a well-established, engineering-led technology company. This team supports both agile software development and live production systems operating at scale.

This is a hands-on role suited to an engineer who enjoys building, supporting, and troubleshooting robust Azure environments and who can clearly explain the reasoning behind technical decisions.

The Role

• Design, deploy, and support Azure IaaS and PaaS environments

• Build and maintain multi-tier Web/App/DB infrastructure

• Support on-prem to Azure migration initiatives

• Work with AKS and related platform services

• Investigate and resolve production incidents, performing root-cause analysis

• Contribute PowerShell scripting and infrastructure automation

• Work in a ticket-driven environment (Jira)

• Participate in an on-call rota post-probation (allowance + time in lieu)

What We’re Looking For

• 3–5 years’ experience in a Cloud or Azure Infrastructure Engineer role

• Strong Azure IaaS knowledge (VMs, networking, storage, security)

• Experience with Azure PaaS services, ideally AKS

• Proven background supporting production cloud environments

• Strong troubleshooting, diagnostics, and operational mindset

• Solid PowerShell skills with a clear understanding of how scripts work

• Confident communicator who can explain design and implementation choices

Package

• €70k–€75k salary

• Pension, medical insurance, and discretionary bonus after 6-month probation

• On-call allowance and day off in lieu for weekend cover
